2021 Heinzinger Automotive GmbH is founded from Heinzinger Electronic GmbH and acquired by NI.

2019 Our latest HV test system ERS-BIC 3L will be presented at the Testing Expo exhibition in Stuttgart. 1200V, 4800A, up to 2400kW.

2017 Preview of the ERS Compact at Automotive Testing Expo Europe to expand the product range for test bench energy systems, including applications in the 48V range.

2015 The purchase of another production hall and the power increase of the test bench power systems (ERS series) by the model ERS BIC with up to 750kW are important milestones.

2013 The milestones of the year are the test bench energy systems up to 250kW / 1.000VDC / 2channel as further standard devices of the ERS series.

2008 Presentation of regenerative test bench energy systems (ERS series) for the automotive sector, especially hybrid engines.

2002 Milestones are the restructuring in the company and in the Knürr Group and thus the new foundation of Heinzinger electronic GmbH through a management buy-out.

1992 The company is taken over by Knürr AG as the “Competence Center for Electronics in Mechanics” within the Group, thus continuing the history for the years to come.

1959 Josef Heinzinger founds the company in Munich – the beginning of the company history.
