Partner for the e-Mobility Industry
The Automotive Industry needs Powerful and Reliable Test Systems
Heinzinger Automotive develops and produces high-performance DC power supplies for testing high-voltage batteries and drive systems at location in Rosenheim (Gemany).
Heinzinger Automotive is now NI
Heinzinger has been synonymous with technically high-quality and high-precision power supply solutions in the high-current and high-voltage range for over 50 years.
In 2021, Heinzinger Automotive was acquired by NI (formerly known as National Instruments).
Suitable systems for different tasks
The tasks in the field of automotive development are diverse – a high flexibility of the systems therefore ensures long-term investment security. Power supply units from Heinzinger Automtive can be used for different feeding or simulation tasks. They are suitable, for example, for battery simulation, driving profile tests or long-term tests of batteries for automotive applications. Even the behavior under extreme environmental conditions can be reliably investigated and reproducibly tested.
Experienced partner for the automotive industry
Test data plays a major role for the automotive industry. A large number of values are collected and evaluated at ever shorter intervals, and the volume of relevant parameters is growing continuously. As an experienced partner for the automotive industry, Heinzinger Automotivr therefore relies on precision power supply units that are optimally adapted to the respective requirements and provide exactly the data that is needed.
History & Milestones
2021 Heinzinger Automotive GmbH is founded from Heinzinger Electronic GmbH and acquired by NI.
2019 Our latest HV test system ERS-BIC 3L will be presented at the Testing Expo exhibition in Stuttgart. 1200V, 4800A, up to 2400kW.
2017 Preview of the ERS Compact at Automotive Testing Expo Europe to expand the product range for test bench energy systems, including applications in the 48V range.
2015 The purchase of another production hall and the power increase of the test bench power systems (ERS series) by the model ERS BIC with up to 750kW are important milestones.
2013 The milestones of the year are the test bench energy systems up to 250kW / 1.000VDC / 2channel as further standard devices of the ERS series.
2008 Presentation of regenerative test bench energy systems (ERS series) for the automotive sector, especially hybrid engines.
2002 Milestones are the restructuring in the company and in the Knürr Group and thus the new foundation of Heinzinger electronic GmbH through a management buy-out.
1992 The company is taken over by Knürr AG as the “Competence Center for Electronics in Mechanics” within the Group, thus continuing the history for the years to come.
1959 Josef Heinzinger founds the company in Munich – the beginning of the company history.
